Privacy Policy
Specific about access. Clear about control.
Effective date: August 18, 2026
1. What Schedule+ does
Schedule+ identifies scheduled Shorts without a Related Video, lets the user select Shorts for reviewed updates, and verifies each result. It also shows upcoming scheduled content inside the plan window: 30 days with Free or 90 days with planned Pro.
2. Information accessed
On the signed-in studio.youtube.com interface, Schedule+ reads Video and Short identifiers, titles when available, content type, scheduled publication date and time, Related Video identifier, title and state, and capture metadata. This information is used to identify matching scheduled Shorts and valid Related Video targets; it is not presented as a complete schedule-viewing service.
Schedule+ does not access or store Google passwords, cookies, payment-card data, OAuth secrets, email addresses, advertising identifiers, precise location, or browsing history outside YouTube Studio.
3. How information is used
Information is used for synchronization and recovery, discovery of scheduled Shorts missing a Related Video, user review, sequential application, verification and user-directed diagnostics.
4. Limited use
Information obtained from YouTube Studio is used only to provide and maintain the user-facing Schedule+ features described here. It is not used for advertising, profiling, credit or lending decisions, or sale to third parties. Human access does not occur unless a user deliberately shares an exported diagnostic for support.
Schedule+ handles this information in accordance with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
5. Storage and retention
The locally captured catalog, title cache, sync state, Related Video operation data, recent targets, continuation state, weekly usage, diagnostics, performance samples and preferences are stored in chrome.storage.local in the user’s Chrome profile. Catalog and title caches are bounded to 20,000 records. General diagnostics retain the latest 10 operations; performance data retains the latest 50 samples. Current operation and state records are overwritten or reconciled by later activity.
Three popup preferences—enabled state, 12/24-hour format, and whether to show Related Video—use chrome.storage.sync and may be synchronized by Google Chrome when Chrome Sync is enabled.
6. Transmission and external services
Schedule+ 1.0 has no Schedule+ backend, analytics, advertising, payment, licensing or telemetry endpoint. Schedule+ does not send the locally captured catalog or diagnostics to its own server. It opens and operates YouTube Studio for requested workflows. YouTube Studio is a Google service and processes page activity under Google’s and YouTube’s terms. Chrome may synchronize the three preferences described above through Chrome Sync.
Diagnostics are not transmitted automatically. A user may explicitly export and share them for support.
7. Related Video updates and user control
Schedule+ uses a visible YouTube Studio window to apply a user-reviewed Related Video selection one Short at a time. The user chooses the matching Shorts and target, reviews the action, explicitly starts it, and receives result and verification feedback. Schedule+ does not silently schedule or upload content.
8. Permissions and site access
storage is the only declared Chrome permission. Schedule+ uses it to preserve settings, locally captured working data, recovery state, weekly allowance and local diagnostics across YouTube Studio navigation and browser restarts.
Content scripts are limited to https://studio.youtube.com/* so Schedule+ can read scheduled-content rows, show its workflow, and perform user-confirmed Related Video updates on the supported Studio pages. The extension declares no broad host permission and does not request the Chrome tabs, scripting, identity, cookies, history, downloads, notifications or clipboard permissions. It does open and navigate its own visible YouTube Studio workflow windows when a user starts synchronization or an update.
9. Security
The release packages all executable code locally and does not download remote code. It contains no Schedule+ API key, OAuth client secret, webhook secret, payment credential or license value. No method of storage or software can be guaranteed completely secure, but the extension limits its permissions and network behavior to its documented functions.
10. Deletion
Local data may be replaced by later synchronization and can be removed through Chrome’s extension data controls or by uninstalling, subject to Chrome behavior. Chrome-synced preferences may remain subject to the user’s Chrome Sync retention and account settings after uninstall.
11. Children’s privacy
Schedule+ is a workflow tool for YouTube creators and is not directed to children. It does not knowingly collect personal information through a Schedule+ server because this release has no such server.
12. Policy updates
This policy may be updated when functionality or data practices change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
